Jimmy Canner is a highly experienced investment banker, bringing nearly 15 years of experience focused on M&A and capital-raising advisory for high-growth software companies, with coverage focus across Supply Chain and Logistics Software, Construction Software, Procurement, Office of the CFO and Back Office Software, and other key verticals.
Jimmy has advised numerous public and private companies on M&A, capital raising, divestitures, leveraged buyouts, and capital structure alternatives. His notable transaction experience includes Vista’s acquisition of JAGGAER, Flow Commerce’s sale to Global-e, Circa’s sale to Mitratech, Invoca’s investment led by Silver Lake Waterman, CallMiner’s investment led by Goldman Sachs, SilkRoad’s sale to HighBar, Catalyst Repository Systems’s sale to OpenText, and LightRiver’s sale to Grain Management.
Prior to joining Drake Star, Jimmy was a Director with TD Cowen. Before that, he worked in similar roles at leading financial institutions such as Stifel, CODE Advisors, and RBC Capital Markets.
Jimmy holds a B.A. from Williams College and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza School of Business.
