NEW YORK | April 2, 2020 – Award-winning technology, media and communications global investment bank Drake Star Partners announced today that seasoned fintech investment banker Antonia Georgieva has joined the firm’s New York office as a Partner. Antonia will focus on expanding Drake Star’s global fintech footprint into the US, advising clients in the payments, wealthtech, banktech, capital markets tech, digital financial services and financial info services sectors. Antonia has more than 16 years of M&A and capital markets experience in fintech and financial services.

Prior to joining Drake Star, Antonia was a Managing Director at BMO Capital Markets Corp. where she co-led the firm’s fintech coverage effort as a senior member of the Technology & Business Services team. Previously, Antonia was at Milestone Advisors, LLC, a financial services-focused advisory firm. Antonia started her career in finance at the Bulgarian National Bank, a central bank institution in Eastern Europe.
