NEW YORK | July 26, 2021 – Global tech investment bank Drake Star Partners announced today that Steven Dana is joining the firm as Partner.
Steve brings more than 18 years of experience in investment banking with focus on Industrial Tech and Software and has advised clients on transactions totalling more than USD 15 billion.
Based in Drake Star Partner’s New York office, Steve will focus on accelerating and expanding Drake Star’s Industrial Tech footprint in North America, whilst assisting on a global basis the firm’s established presence across Europe and its growing activity elsewhere worldwide. Steve has ample experience in multiple key subsectors such as supply chain automation, robotics, IoT, and digital manufacturing.
Prior to joining Drake Star, Steve was a Director at DC Advisory, where he led the firm’s Industrial Tech vertical in North America. Steve was also Director at FTI Consulting a global advisory firm focused on the strategic, operational, and capital needs of businesses.
Steve has advised clients on landmark deals including Battery Ventures' investment in Robotiq, Sungwoo Hitech’s investment in Adasky, Level Equity’s investment in CloudCheckr, Long Ridge Partners' investment in Broadway Technology, ION’s acquisition of MarketFactory, as well as the restructuring of Delphi Automotive and Kmart.
