PARIS | LONDON | BRUSSELS | April 9th, 2021 – Global technology, media and communications investment bank Drake Star Partners announced today that Daniel Kurgan, CEO of BICS, has joined the firm Communications vertical as Senior Advisor.
Daniel Kurgan has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications sector. Daniel joined BICS in its infancy as Vice President of Commercial Operations in 2005, becoming CEO of the company a year later in 2006. BICS, is committed to being one of the world leaders in the provision of converging international connectivity and interoperability solutions to communication service providers, digital companies and hyperscalers. Daniel Kurgan was at the helm of BICS these last 14 years, when the company went through a massive growth period becoming one of the world leaders in wholesale voice, messaging, roaming and data connectivity.
Daniel was also the executive chairman of TeleSign, a world-leading provider of authentication and digital identity solutions acquired by BICS in 2017. TeleSign has enjoyed exponential growth under Daniel’s supervision.
