AMSTERDAM, LONDON | July 9, 2019 – Global technology, media and communications investment bank Drake Star Partners announced today that Michel Taride, a senior executive in the global mobility, transportation and travel industries has joined the firm’s Mobility & Smart Cities vertical as Senior Advisor.
Michel has over 35 years of experience in the vehicle rental sector, culminating with the role of Group President of Hertz International, the leading car rental firm, where he was responsible for all the company corporate and franchise operations in approximately 150 countries across all continents, outside of North America.
He brings a deep knowledge of car sharing and more generally fleet management driven businesses, increasingly enabled by telematics and other disruptive technologies. In the last years, Michel has also developed a significant experience and network, working with start ups, scale ups in various geographies, as well as partnering with large, traditional operators in the automotive, travel and transportation industries.
