SAN FRANCISCO | October 18, 2018 – Global technology, media and communications investment bank Drake Star Partners announced today the appointment of experienced investment banker Milledge Hart as Chairman. Milledge also joins the board of the firm’s parent company – Drake Star Partners Limited.
Milledge was previously Managing Director at Pagemill Partners, a premier technology and digital-focused boutique investment bank based in Silicon Valley, providing financial advisory services such as M&A advisory and private placement advisory. In 2011, Pagemill Partners was acquired by independent financial advisory and investment banking firm Duff & Phelps. Pagemill Partners was widely regarded as a dominant fixture in the Silicon Valley technology M&A world, receiving many industry accolades.
Milledge brings to Drake Star Partners over 25 years of experience in investment banking and technology entrepreneurship. As Managing Director of Pagemill Partners, Milledge has completed transactions across a wide range of industry segments including consumer, enterprise software, internet and media, security, broadcast and services. Prior to Pagemill Partners, Milledge held several operating roles, most notably serving as CEO at four companies.
As Chairman, Milledge’s main responsibilities will focus on driving Drake Star Partners’ global business development initiatives and strategy. While based in the firm’s San Francisco office, his activities will spread internationally, actively sourcing new projects for Drake Star globally. Marc Deschamps will continue as Executive Chairman and Chairman of the board for the group.
