Drake Star's Managing Partner Christophe Morvan Spoke at Faraday Venture Partners’ Roundtable in Madrid on the Latest Trends in Investments and M&A

PARIS | August 24th, 2018 – On July 5, 2018, Christophe Morvan, Managing Partner of Drake Star Partners was invited by Madrid-based venture capital firm Faraday Venture Partners’ to speak at their quarterly roundtable event, sharing his views on the latest trends in investments and M&A.

Joining Christophe Morvan were like-minded technology M&A experts Francisco Velázquez de Cuéllar, President at Axon Partners Group and Miguel Kindelán, Executive Director at GP Bullhound. Moderating the panel was Faraday Venture Partners’ own Managing Partner & Chief Investment Officer, Gonzalo Tradacete.

In addition to exploring the latest M&A trends, their conversation looked at the disruptive power of scale-ups, their ability to foster innovation across the ecosystem, and the positive effects that M&A and fundraising rounds can have for companies helping them to quickly roll out disruptive technologies globally. The panellists also spoke about the importance for CEOs to build strong ties with relevant investors early-on, and vice-versa.
