NEW YORK | LOS ANGELES | GENEVA | April 3, 2013 - Redwood Capital Group, an investment banking firm serving the technology, communications, media, business services and other growth industries, announced today that the firm's Co-Founder, CEO & Managing Partner, Gregory Bedrosian, was selected to serve on the panel of judges for the 2013 Harvard Business School New Venture Competition to be held in early April on the HBS campus in Boston. The panel of judges includes accomplished professionals from various fields including venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, industrialists as well as HBS faculty members. Mr. Bedrosian, a Harvard MBA, also currently serves on the Harvard Business School Alumni Board of Directors.

The annual HBS New Venture Competition is one of the most influential business plan contests in the country and past participants have gone on to create many successful companies such as Cloudfare, which enables websites to intelligently protect themselves from online attacks; Finale, a Boston-area restaurant chain serving desserts and beverages; RelayRides, the world's first person-to-person car sharing service; Rent the Runway, which provides access to designer clothing at a fraction of the retail price; and Birchbox, which is a unique way for consumers to sample and buy high-end beauty products.
