Redwood Capital Group Expands its Enterprise Technology Coverage as Michael Rosenberg Joins Firm as a Partner

NEW YORK | LOS ANGELES | GENEVA | February 26, 2015 – Redwood Capital Group – a leading investment banking firm serving the technology, communications, media, business services and other growth industries -- announced today that it has expanded its senior leadership team with the addition of Michael Rosenberg as a Partner, who will be based in the firm’s New York office.

Mr. Rosenberg brings to Redwood over 20 years of investment banking, corporate development and advisory experience, originating and directing acquisitions, divestitures, debt and equity financing, recapitalizations, strategic planning and integration. Throughout his career, Michael has completed numerous transactions, exceeding over $40 billion of total value, including deals with T-Mobile, Gemalto, National Grid, NetApp, Corel, Novar, CA Technologies, Honeywell International and many others.

Prior to joining Redwood Capital, Michael was the founder of Northside Advisors, where he focused on advising enterprise technology companies on both sell-side and buy-side transactions. Michael also served as head of CA Technologies’ corporate development organization, leading the company’s M&A, integration and strategic investing efforts. Prior to CA, Michael spent four years with Honeywell International, where he executed and integrated many key acquisitions for its Security Products division.

Earlier, Michael spent six years as an investment banker at leading firms such as Prudential Securities and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, where he completed domestic and cross-border transactions in mergers and acquisitions and high-yield corporate finance for clients in the consumer, technology, software, telecom, utilities and financial services sectors.

Michael is an active member of the Austin Technology Council (ATC). ATC is the voice of Austin, Texas’ thriving technology and life sciences industries, representing 1,600 technology executives, 250+ companies and over 60,000 employees. Michael sits on the ATC’s Capital Advisory Council, working to broaden its constituents’ access to funding.
