NEW YORK | LOS ANGELES | GENEVA | May 23, 2013 – Redwood Capital Group is pleased to announce that it has been named the winner of both the “M&A Deal of the Year” (between $100mm and $250mm) and the “Deal Financing of the Year” by The M&A Advisor for its role as investment banking advisor to Paul Heth and Patton Media in the acquisition of Karo Film. Along with advising Mr. Heth and Patton on the acquisition, Redwood helped secure substantial private equity financing for the deal from a consortium of investors consisting of Baring Vostok Capital Partners, UFG Private Equity and the Russian Direct Investment Fund.
Award winners were announced at the 5th Annual International M&A Advisor Awards Gala celebration on Monday, May 13th, 2013 at the New York Athletic Club in New York City.
